Obituary of Emily Murphy

  Peacefully passed away at Bradford Valley Long Term Care on Thursday, December 24, 2009.  Emily Murphy (nee Grindrod) of Bradford and formerly of Keswick at 87 years of age.  Beloved wife of the late Bernard Murphy.  Loving mum of Joan (Ed) Doucett, Maureen (Paul) Fairbrother, Kathleen (Gord) Davies and Bernice (Bill) Sugden. Survived by her sisters Nellie and Jean and brothers Ronald, Ernie and Allan. Emily will be fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Special thanks to the caregivers at Bradford Valley for their compassionate care.  Friends may call at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford for visitation on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment Queensville Cemetery.  Donations to Bradford Valley Long Term Care or to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
