Obituary of Joan Aline West

Peacefully passed away at Chartwell Aurora (formerly Resthaven Nursing Home) on Monday, May 15, 2017. Joan West (nee Magloughlin) of Aurora and formerly of Alliston and Midland. Daughter of the late Albert Magloughlin and the late Mary (nee Mathew) Howard. Sister of David (Colleen) Magloughlin. Proud mother of Chris Zabzinski, and the late Donna Lynn (Jason) Fildey. The joys of her 4 grandchildren Jeremy (Stacey), Justin (Dawn), Elizabeth and Martina. The spark of her eyes 2 great granddaughters Marissa and Leah. Joan will be missed by many cousins, nephews and nieces. Each person played an important roll in her life. Family and friends were something she cherish much in her life and lived for. And each one will miss her presence here on earth, but she lives on in our hearts as we think about her. Friends may call at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 2 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 4 p.m. followed by cremation.
