Obituary of Hendrik Jan Swagerman

Former Owner of Hank’s Cleaners and Lifetime Member of the Bradford Lions Club. Peacefully passed away at Providence Heathcare, Scarborough on Friday, June 16, 2017. Hank Swagerman of Scarborough and formerly of Barrie and Bradford at 85 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee den Boggende). Loving father of Garry (Mary Anne) Swagerman, Rick (Jean) Swagerman and Mary Lynn Swagerman (Allen Stiehl). Proud Opa of Laura (Jimmy) DiBartolomeo, Sabrina (Chris) Mason; Derek, Joel (Sarah), Luke and Sarah Swagerman; and Jarred Newbold. Cherished Great Opa of Caleb. Dear brother of late Alie vanNoppen, late Ad Swagerman and Jennie Eijkelboom. Hank will also be lovingly remembered by Rita’s brothers and sisters in the Netherlands. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In Hank’s memory, donations may be made to the Bradford Lions Club.
