Obituary of Ivan Simmonds

Peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family at Bradford Valley Care Community on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 83 years of age. Beloved husband of Marguerite (nee McFarlane). Loving father of Bradley (Jennifer) and Kevin (Cheryl) and Craig. Proud Grandpa of Catherine, Nicole, Danielle, Thomas, Joanne; Laura (Seth) and Rachel (Keith). The Simmonds family would like to thank the staff at Bradford Valley Care Community for their compassionate care of Ivan. Family and friends may call at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment at Mt. Albert Cemetery. In Ivan’s memory, donations may be made to New Leaf Living and Learning (Craig’s Group Home).
