My sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. I met her many years ago and would enjoy chatting with her as she walked by my house. She was a gentle person with a winning smile. I re-aquainted with her when I was in Nmkt. Health Centre on the opposite wing when I was there for my re-hab. I continued to 'pop=in' to see her for q quick visit when I went to visit a close friend on the same floor as your mom. She was proud of you girls. May your memories help sustain you through this difficult time.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother. We first met your Mother when Dad moved into Newmarket Health Centre and they became "next door neighbours." Dad had known your Father so it gave him a connection to Bradford again. We always enjoyed talking to your Mother and many times I took her to the dining room at meal time. When I first met your Mother, I asked how long she had lived at NHC. She replied 4 years and added "4 years too long." She added another 4 years to that. After Dad passed away, whenever we would meet someone from NHC we would be sure to ask how your Mother was doing. We know that she received excellent care at NHC. She is at peace.

So sorry to hear about Shirley. She was a wonderful neighbour for many years as our girls were growing. She would often stop to chat as she got her mail. We missed her a great deal when she moved.

To my mom, you were always there for all of us our whole lives, i had the greatest respect for you, more then i can ever express, you taught me kindness, compassion, the ability to be able to put oneself in another person shoes, to look at how or why they might react to a life situation, when i didn't understand why, to try to be the best me i could be i am grateful for this gift you have given me, your loving daughter Karen oxoxox Gods speed to a wonderful person & Mother, till we meet again.

On behalf of all your friends at Newmarket Health Centre, please accept our deepest sympathies.
Deb and Karen, you have so many memories of your dearest Mom. I am a very lucky person to have had the
privilege of meeting all of you.
Your Mom was so very dear to me. I was honored to have been able to walk
out with your Mom with the Quilt.
I always loved to talk to Shirley ever since we came from the hospital back in 2009. We had a lot of laughs
together and we supported each other. Shirley was like having my own Mom around.
Thank you for all your support over the years. Shirley will always be in my heart.
God Bless! Rest in peace Shirley!
Sharron
