Dear Els, Marge & the Jonkhout family:
Our sincere condolences & deepest sympathy on the loss of dear Giel. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but there should be some joy in celebrating a long, meaningful, generous & fruitful life well lived. We feel both honoured and humbled to have been friends with a true Christian "Gentle Man" these past many years. He was a kind, loving, caring man whose family, his Catholic Faith & his Knights of Columbus membership meant so much to him. Sadly we shall not meet your like again Sir Giel. Requiescat in Pace. May "God's Amazing Grace" be with all the family during the difficult days ahead. Love, Hugs & Blessings, Theresa & SK Paul R Wharton.

My sincere condolences to the Jonkhout family. Giel was a real gentleman and I treasure the memories of his time in Bradford and his dedication to the Knights of Columbus. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be up there with all the angels. Rust in Vrede Giel.

Our deepest and heart-felt sympathies go out to Margie and the rest of the entire Jonkhout families. Dad is at peace with the Father. No more pains, no more suffering on this earth. His duties here are done. He is now at peace away from all the turmoil in this world. I know my sister Phyllis is busy making every thing just right for him. Let us all prayer for his soul and thank God almighty for sharing him with his family. I surely miss his jovial "hello, how are you"' greeting and his numerous jokes. We will always remember him in our prayers. Please be strong. Have faith and trust in the Lord for He knows best.
Like Phyllis always said " Live and love & care and share for through your living and loving and caring and sharing I will continue to go on. Please continue to live, love, care and share so dad will continue to go on.
with our sincere love and prayers
Matt, Sheri, Jamie & Sarah
