Our sincerest condolences on the loss of someone so special. My Mother (Clara) was initially Sharon's roommate at Eatonville until she moved into another room on the floor. We continued to be close to Sharon and visited with her every time we saw our Mother. She became our adopted Mom at the home and we acknowledged her birthdays, Mother's Day and every other special occasion.
The last time I saw her I helped her with her earrings as she was getting ready to sing an Elvis song at the home. She looked wonderful in her sequenced green dress and asked if it was too much...I told her not for Elvis and to go rock out her song. We will miss her dearly and are grateful to have known her and to spend time with her over the years.
Thinking of her always. May she rest in peace.
Clara, Donna, Denise and our Family

We are so sorry for your loss. I know that no words can actually help at this time but know that we are thinking of you. I'm sorry we couldn't be there on Friday but will be thinking of you and have made a donation to CAMH in Auntie Sharon's memory.

Dear Emily, Margaret and family, and Sharon’s Siblings:
We are so saddened by our Sister's, Aunt's, and Godmother's death. Sharon’s passing has left an ache and emptiness in our life, but she will forever be in our hearts. Sharon will be dearly missed by her Family out West. We know she loved us as much as we loved her. Knowing Sharon has added a richness to our lives and her integrity taught us all how to live, love and enjoy life with compassion for our fellow man. Sharon was generous, had a zest for life, had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. She marvelled and appreciated the simplest things in life. She was so proud of her daughters and she loved her grandchildren to pieces. She looked forward to taking them out to Swiss Chalet at Christmas time. Going to Walmart was her favourite pleasure and she was so happy to buy gifts for her Grandkids. No matter what little money she had, she made sure that she bought a Christmas gift for everyone. That pleased her more than if she bought something for herself. That’s the kind of person Sharon was. Always thinking of others. Just one more beautiful trait of the many she had. She was a selfless woman who touched every person she came in contact with. We are so blessed that she is now resting in peace and we know she is dancing in Heaven like nobody is watching.
Love Marjorie and Paul Turner; Christine and Lance Hurtubise, Carter, Jessica, Billie, Brianna; Sherri and Paul Miller, Tara, and Travis. xoxoxo

Dear Sharon:
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, 'Peace be Thine'.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
Love from Sister Marj, Godchild Christine, Niece Sherri, Calgary Family
