Our dear brother Hank is now at peaceful rest; as he and his family richly deserved. A finer person, son, brother, husband, father, brother-in-law, son-in-law, father-in-law, Grampa, pal, you will never find.
Sure, a stubborn old bugger at times, but aren't we all ? So, so many great memories and stories material that we can all share during the course of the Fri/Sat celebration of Hank's life, as he touched so many in a caring, positive way; while enjoying life in a lighthearted manner as well.
Of course our primary, heartfelt condolences go out to wife Nancy and children Trev and Clancy and their respective families including 4 wonderful grand children. Nanny, Clance and Trev have done a great job organizing the upcoming life celebration plans and we all look forward to sharing in that celebration with them with deep, caring love and support.
On behalf of all Nelsons; we thank our relatives, close friends and Hank's former work colleagues who have passed along condolences, and offered support to Nancy and immediate family. Rest well good Brother; Heaven will never be the same !!

Nancy: So sorry to hear of Hank's passing. We fondly remember our trip to California and the wonderful "gold" jewelry we bought in Mexico. Unfortunately, our health will not let us attend the service. Remembering all the good times we had. All the best to you and kids. Sue and Vince

Thoughts and prayers to my cousins. I am so sorry. I will always treasure the commitment the Nelson cousins had for my Mom and Dad and always showed their support even to the end when they were in long term care. Hank, so many memories... so much family waiting to welcome you home now. So many stories for you to reminisce over with them. Your final journey home. God speed. All my love to the family.

I am Hank's uncle. Hank was a towering gentleman. A fine man with a great sense of humor. He had caring way for everyone he knew, including old uncs like me. Hank always should respect for his older relatives and friends.
Hank had the quiet, caring character of his father and yet the ability to exhibit the firmness to deal with everyday life.
Like all the Nelsons Hank loved his siblings and was always there for them. Hank, we will all love you forever. Until we meet again RIP my good nephew. Uncle Boyd

A fine, fine gentleman gone far too soon. I remember Hank as a gentle giant, a man you could count on when you needed help. One of my fondest memories of him was a day when he helped my parents move from Newmarket to Alliston around 1990 or so with his brother Paul and my best man Malcolm. We had so many laughs. I can't help but feel humbled that Paul and I are the only ones standing from that day almost thirty years ago.
My condolences to Nancy, Clancy and Trevor and their families. As always when someone dies young, the grandchildren are those most cheated of time and exposure to the grand parent's love and wisdom, for nobody loves you like your Grandpa or Grandma. May your family, friends, faith and fond memories see you through this difficult time.
