Obituary of Mervin Chester Rynard
Passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton on Sunday, April 14, 2019 in his 97th year. Predeceased by his parents William and Sadie (nee McClellan), his brothers Mac and Hugh, his loving wife of 59 years Elva (nee Brent). He leaves behind his two sons Wayne (Karen) and Brent (Cathy) and five grandchildren Carol (Tim) Gravelle, Wendy (Alan) Outram, Laura (David) DeJong, Bill (Caitlin) Rynard and Jennifer (Sean) Astop and ten great grandchildren Bryan and Sadie Gravelle, Andrew and Matthew Outram, Ella and Luke DeJong, Cole and Alanna Rynard, Catherine and Daniel Astop. Mervin farmed on the family farm until the age of 90. He was always interested about the happenings on the farm while he lived at Butternut Manor, Uxbridge and recently at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton. The family wished to thank his caregivers at both homes for their compassion and kindness. Friends will be received at the Zephyr United Church, 12990 Durham Regional Road #39 for visitation on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 12 noon until the time of a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment at Zephyr Zion Cemetery.
