Marion Barton (nee Noble)

Obituary of Marion Barton (nee Noble)

A chapter has ended, but the story of her life lives on through us all. In her 91st year, the next phase of her epic tale has begun with the same grit, passion and the type of determination that only the “ Fighting Irish” possess.

Much beloved wife of late Gerald “Jerry”, cherished daughter of late Norman “Ray” and late Elizabeth “Lilly” and loving sister/lifelong pal of Elizabeth “Betty”.   Her love, devotion, faith and strength carry on in all of us that know her as Mom,  Aunt, Gramma, Marion or Mrs. B.

Friends will be received at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for a memorial visitation on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 12 noon until the time of a celebration of this beautiful life at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to your local OSPCA will be gratefully accepted in her memory.

Mom loved to sing and she shared this song she learned as a child growing up in Ireland.

“Sure if I had the wings of a swallow, I would travel far over the sea

And a rocky old road I would follow to a place that is heaven to me.”
