Obituary of Sarah Margaret McNelly

It is with heartfelt grief and sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our family matriarch, Sarah Margaret McNelly on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 100 years of age. Loving daughter of the late William Herbert Curl and the late Evelyn Jane Urquhart. Beloved Wife of the late Merton (1999). Loving Mother of the late Donald (1940), Gordon of Port Dover and Dianne of Uxbridge. Mother-in-law of Patty McNelly and Jim Morris. Cherished Grandmother of Jason Morris (Kate), Wade McNelly and Julie Holt (Evan). Loved sister of the late Dorothy Curl (2012) and the late Wilfred (Doris) Curl (2007). Also cherished sister-in-law of the late Marion (2019) (late Ray (2016)) Thompson. Aunt to Pam (Thompson) Gilpin, Laurel (Thompson) Dunkeld, Peter and Jill Curl. As a devoted Mother and Grandmother she gave generously to the needs of her family and aged gracefully with wisdom, always putting others ahead of herself. Friends will be received at the Zephyr United Church, 12990 Regional Road #39 for visitation on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment Zephyr Zion Cemetery.
