Obituary of Nina Lunney
Nina peacefully passed away at her daughter’s home on Monday, July 15, 2019. Nina Lunney (nee Pickering) formerly of Zephyr in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Chesley Lunney. Loving mom of the late Dann (late Catherine) Lunney and Sheilah (Wayne) Sudsbury. Proud Gramma of Ryan, Kendra (Jay); Wesley (Rebecca), Jason and Alissa (Grant). Cherished great Gramma of Huxley, Jake, Lila, Ben, Declan and Finn. Survived by her sister-in-law Mary Lunney. Nina will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre and caregiver Bea, for their compassionate care of Nina. Friends will be received at Zephyr United Church, 12990 Durham Regional Rd. #39, Zephyr for visitation on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 1 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment at Zephyr Zion Cemetery. In Nina’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario.
