Obituary of Michael Darren Baber
Peacefully passed away, with family at his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Michael Baber of Dunkerron and formerly of Newmarket at 56 years of age. Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Weening). Loving dad of Jessica, Darren and Devin. Cherished son of Basil and June Baber. Dear brother of Stephen (Debra), Robert (Bonnie) and Sharleen (Steve) Lawton. Dear son-in-law of Sid and Sylvia Weening. Dear brother-in-law of Fred (Carol), Adrian (Irene), Ron (Mary), Martin (Brenda), Maria (Les) Wilcox, Jon (Kristin) and Jeff (Bethany). Michael will also be fondly remembered by Sara, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at Westside Community Church (a.k.a. Springdale Christian Reformed Church), 1466 5th Sideroad, Bradford on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Church on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford. In Michael’s memory, donations may be made to World Vision, Sick Kids Foundation or Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
