Peacefully passed away at Bradford Valley Care Community with family at her side on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Joaquim. Loving mother of Grace (Fernando) Branco, Madalena (Gary) Gage and late Victor Moreira. Proud Avó of Debbie, Stephanie; Kim and Darren. Dear Great Avó of Brittany, Sammy, Vanessa, Fernando, Adriano, Gage, Reianna and Nick. Friends will be received at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford. In Joaquina’s memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
