Nancy was not only a dear friend of my parents, but also a cherished friend to my husband Giles and I. She and Ron were important participants in all of our family occasions and we will miss her terribly - though Red will still have to tolerate us McCarthys! Nancy was the funniest, warmest, most vibrant and loving person I have ever met, and we were lucky to have been in her ever widening circle for the last 25 years. Nancy spoke constantly of her love for family and friends (especially her children, grandchildren and great grand babies) and she made sure that everyone she loved was involved in her busy life. There will never be another one like her and we will remember her every day with love and laughter.
Giles and Leanne, Sophie, Ben and William

Nancy was such a welcoming person when we joined the triple A family. She jumped right in and organized for our main core of Karen & George, Joan & Butch, myself & Gerrard, we welcomed new people, Nancy was always the ring leader in organiziny all gathering, she just told us what we had to do, for all pot lucks I would have to bring dinner rolls & Karen Whitng would yell “ she knows how to cook. We so enjoyed our weekends at the Rommelaere cottage once a year. People would say doesn’t it bother you that Nancy takes over, I said no we expect it. I so missed it when she got sick. Will miss you so much good friend. You are at peace, you knew what was coming & you had accepted it the last day I seen you Tuesday. She was so happy that Olive & Hubert were going on cruise & staying at their home in Florida, she was determined to be going up until last couple of weeks before trip. She was so worried that it would ruin their vacation if her & Ron couldn’t go, but their Florida freinds & Tom took so good care of them. Nancy always surrounded herself with great friends. You are going to be greatly missed. Love you old friend Nancy. Love Joyce
