Obituary of Marion Thompson

Marion (nee Snider) peacefully passed away at Matthew House Hospice, Alliston on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Fred Thompson for 59 years. Loving mom of Joan (Jack), David, Gayle and Gabrion (Gaia). Proud grandma of Christopher, Michael, Amanda, late Shannon, Jennifer, Valerie, Jonathan (Paula), Kathryn (Andrew), Tao, Kahala and Zoe. Cherished great grandma of Anthony and Alisha. Dear sister of late Roy (Late Mary, Rosalee) Snider, and late Harold (late Joyce) Snider. Dear sister-in-law of late Florence (Gordon) Haggar. Marion will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford for visitation on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Bond Head United Church, 4221 Simcoe County Road 88 on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment Bond Head United Church Cemetery. In Marion’s memory, donations may be made to Matthews House Hospice or to the Bond Head United Church.
