Bob was someone who sometimes visited my JD parts counter but was a friend of my brothers
from the vintage bike , SGC , and neighbour of the Drake family. The photo confirmed that the
name that seemed familiar to me was a match. Sorry for your loss

Robert you were the first person who welcome me in the church so I don't feel an outsider it was so beautiful your charisma your smile and welcoming human been always talking about your family and the achievements that you had in your life, also very proud of your collections of cars and wood working very helpful and very loving son looking after to dear mother for so many years, now she is a heartbroken from your depart. I will miss the moments that we share after mass to have a cup of coffee and sharing our stories with your mother and other ladies ,so many people are not there anymore and the church is so different without you.
I will always remenber you and have you in my heart you leave a profound pain and sadness .I know you will be there free of pain and looking over us but never will be the same.
Now you can go to see everywhere and your favorite place Gaspe that I didn't have the opportunity to visit.
My deep condolences to all your beloved family and God give them peace and acceptance of your loss.

Rob (we all called him Rob, he never corrected us lol) always came into the Walk It Off facility and lit up the place making us laugh. His therapist Rebecca Wheeler, will always remember her hours working with Rob. “He was always extremely determined and excited about his rehabilitation and recovery. His stories of photo-shopping funny pictures of his grandkids will always make be laugh. He was so proud of his family and told story after story of his and Jean’s love story and their life starting out in Montreal and Gaspe”
Rob was always so amused by his picture that Olivia (Facility Assistant) posted on our big screen at the front of our facility; showing off his impressive moustache.
Rob and I (Heather Cairns-Mills-Founder) often talked shop and he would smirk at the little projects I was working on around my house and in the facility. I was extremely appreciative when he helped me fix an oil compressor for one of our pieces of medical equipment. I tried calling all over Ontario for someone to fix it and Rob said, don’t bother, it was an easy fix and talked me through the surgery (lol). It’s still working to this day and he saved me hundreds of dollars and I learned something new. Thanks Rob!
We wish the best to his family and send our condolences. We hope the thought that Rob can now tinker with his cars and created guitars again bring them peace.

Very sad to hear of Bob's passing.
Always a great guy to talk to when he and Robbie were attending and competing in Trials. Got to catch up with Bob for several years after when he was displaying his vintage iron at the bike show. Great memories.
Sincere condolences to Robbie and the entire family.

Bob gave great hugs, and plenty of them to so many people. He was part of a team who greeted people at our church, and he made everyone feel welcomed and special. He really did. He took such good care of his mother, Frances, and often mentioned his wife, Jeannie, his children and grandchildren. My family and I were very saddened by the tragedy of Bob's accident, and now his death. We give our sincere condolences to Bob's family. P.S. On Aug 1, 2017 I recorded a joke to deliver to Bob, but never did (the note is actually titled "Joke for Bob"). A drummer is on trial for assaulting his band mate with his own guitar collection. Judge says, first offender? He says, no - first a Gibson - then a Fender. Bob would have nodded and smiled over that one and said "good one".

Bob was such a talented person, bringing old things to life again, building brand new things like guitars and furniture, if it could be made of wood I am sure Bob would have been able to build it. I just want to wish everyone sincere condolences at such a painful loss.
