Dear Inge, Jim & family: My deepest condolences at the loss of Gisela, so soon after Gord's passing. I will always remember
them as open-hearted and welcoming, particularly when Glenn and I first moved to Mount Albert back in 1975. Gord was one
of the first residents Glenn got to know through his association with the Masonic Lodge. When Brian spoke to Glenn, he always
referred to him as "Glenn Church" - his way of differentiating between him and his cousin Glen. Later we met and got to love Gisela's mother as well. I so enjoyed visiting with them all, and am deeply saddened that they are no longer with us.
I have very fond memories of a lovely family. My heartfelt sympathy to you on your loss.

We knew Gisela through her son Brian and nephew Gordon Wright. Gisela was a devoted mother to Brian. When she couldn’t use a wheelchair to get Brian to where she wanted to get, she would carry him on her back. Her energy and devotion were unlimited. Having met her mother we saw where that energy and vitality came from. Her smile and enthusiasm will be missed by all who knew her.

My condolences on the passing of Gord and Gisela I have memories of growing up in Mt Albert and my father having Gord delivering gravel to the farm. Gord was a big help to my father when the government change the rules with gun licenses. He enjoyed taking the course and test at their home because they always made us feel comfortable. It was also an honor for me to sell their property beside their home. Gisela was always so kind and gracious and could talk for hours. Their fond memories will never leave me. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Dear Gord and Gisela. They were indeed special people and will be greatly missed. I remember my friends came from vancouver a couple of years ago and Gisela invited them over for a bon fire and pig roast. They still talk about it until this day. I used to share cat stories with Gisela and she had a great sense of humor. She never complained, she was a thoughtful caring person, some people never meet someone as special as her in a life time. I consider myself blessed for having known her and my life was that much richer. I am very sad she is gone from this earth but thankful she is in peace and reunited with Gord and her son. We will keep her memories alive. Rest in peace Gord and Gisela, you will be truly missed.

We are so deeply saddened by the loss of Gisela. She was an inspiration to so many. She was a devoted mother and loved her son Brian and her husband Gord very much. She was a wonderful neighbour in Mount Albert and so giving to so many. When we held a baby shower for them when she was pregnant with Brian, she said she felt like a princess with so many gifts and so many that came to her party. She had the biggest smile ALL DAY LONG! Our most deepest condolences and thoughts and prayers are with her and her family at this very sad time. Fran and John Paterson

Gisela, her son Brian and her mother were a wonderful part of the Friends Group at St. John parish. They contributed much to our gathering and we learned how devoted she was to her family and especially Brian. I attended many social gathering with them and I’m so sad to hear of Gisela’s passing.
