We were so lucky to have Lynne and Jim for our neighbours. We shared a love of gardening and birding. We'd compare which birds were visiting and when. We still have never seen a bluebird! We send our condolences to Jim, Jennifer and Brad. We will miss her great smile and quirky sense of humour. Tom and Peg Wasley.

Jim & Family
Please accept our most sincere condolences at your loss. Lynne was a wonderful lady was saw joy and wonder even in the smallest of things (like the return of the bluebirds each year), bringing a passion to all that she did. Her hospitality and kindness, combined with her laughter were sure to make anyone feel welcome. The memories which are so painful now will be the very things to bring smiles in the days to come

We are all going through challenging times these days due to a virus that has pretty much shut down our normal daily lives. And now we are frustrated in not being able to grieve in a physical presence with my cousin Jim and his family in the loss of his partner-for-life Lynne. Our world today is missing a very special person, Lynne. May God rest her soul. Lloyd & Mable Sellers

Lynne and Jim have been dear friends of ours for many years. We enjoyed wonderful times together, travelling to different destinations around the world as a group of eight, celebrating birthdays and so much more. Lynne was an integral part of our life and will be dearly missed. She and Jim were our family of choice. We remember Lynne for her devotion to her family, her friends, her church and the many activities in which she excelled - gardening, cooking, hiking, travelling, the ACW, the May high tea fashion show where she would model clothes to raise money for our church food bank and where she worked as a dedicated volunteer. Lynne was a committed Christian who loved her church and always participated in it’s activities. Best of all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Lynne always greeted you with her wonderful smile, she was quiet and and seemed somewhat shy but always interested in what you were doing when you visited with her. Her battle with cancer was not an easy on her but she faced it with courage and dignity. She will be remembered dearly by friends and family. Our condolences to her family especially Cousin Jim.

We mourn the passing of our dear cousin, Lynne. She fought a courageous battle against an awful disease and now has been rewarded with an eternity of joy, free of pain and suffering. We will miss her, but treasure the memories of hiking together, of shared meals and laughter in family gatherings. Exactly one year ago, Linda and I shared a hike with Jim and Lynne here in Vernon, BC. We love you Lynne.
