Peacefully passed away at Bradford Valley Care Community on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 97 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Allen Rice. Loving mom of Anthony (Barbara) Preston, Philip (Janice) Preston, Clive (Anne) Preston and Johanna Wells (Terry Arnett). Dear stepmom of Carol (Donald) Sisson. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of late Herbert Heaton, late Alan Heaton and late Mildred Stone. Ruth will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Private family arrangements will be held. In Ruth's memory, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or The Ronald MacDonald House.
