To the family of Carol Walker- I had only a short time to know Carol but felt like a friend and got to see her and hear her speak of the love of her family, close friends and her dogs. She was often the highlight of my days while she was in PT. Her courage fighting this disease will not be forgotten. Fondly- Rita Ator

Carol, your joy for life echoed wherever you took your beautiful smile, and sparkled in your unforgettable eyes.
The boundless energy which you could sometimes barely contain, wonderfully mischievous, with a slightly twisted sense of humor.
You are the strongest, most courageous, and selfless person I have ever met.
I can never thank you enough for all the love, generosity, understanding and forgiveness you have shown me over this past decade.
I will honour your memory every day, by doing something kind, unselfish, or compassionate as you did each and everyday.
I will love you forever.
Duncan.

So sorry to learn of Carol's passing. Her smile in the photo says so much. My condolences to Gord and Susan Wagner and Doris and Family. Loving thoughts & Prayers.
“Her Journey’s Just Begun”
Don’t think of her as gone away Think how she must be wishing
Her journey’s just begun That we could know today
Life holds so many facets How nothing but our sadness
This earth is only one Can really pass away
Just think of her as resting And think of her as living
From the sorrows and the tears In the hearts of those she touched…
In a place of warmth and comfort For nothing loved is ever lost
Where there are no days and years And she was loved so much

Carol and I met first as she was my hygienist and quickly we became friends. We kept in touch via email, but we’d talk about travel, concerts, tours, there was never a shortage of things to talk about and laughs to share.
I am heartbroken that she was fighting so hard and relentless in her aggressive battle.
My deepest condolences to her family, and to her work family.
I will miss her, but I will never forget her.

I met Carol in 2001 when she joined our senior women's soccer team with Susan. She had no previous soccer experience but as a midfielder, she proved to be a natural. She was a member of our close soccer family for 8 years. I have so many happy memories playing with Carol at that time. I am greatly saddened by her passing.

Carol had a joy for life and she packed a lot into every day. She is gone way to early. She lived what time she had here to the most wether it was on the edge of the Grand Canyon for lunch or roaring through the mountains on her motorcycle or just hanging with friends. She left a lot of memories for everyone to enjoy and not forget. The world is less without her in it.

We have so many wonderful memories of times we spent with Carol. Too many to mention over the twenty years we knew her. When you spent time with Carol, it was easy to have a good time and be prepared to laugh either at yourself, herself or something she thought was humorous.. We enjoyed visiting with her at her cottage in the summer, her “happy place” and went on many trips together. Steve and I feel so privileged to have been a small part of her life. Words cannot fully express how much we will miss her. A void never to be filled by anyone like her again.

Very sorry to receive this very sad news.
Carol was my hygienist for about 30 years. I considered her not only my hygienist but a good friend. I will miss talking with her about our dogs, about Scanlon Creek Conservation Area where she walked her dogs each morning and as well about life in the Bradford area where she lived and where we lived for 25 years.
When Carol left her position at a clinic in Aurora, I (along with 10 of my family) followed her to the Simon Dental Centre because I felt that she was an excellent hygienist and a very caring person. I didn’t want to change to someone else.
We will miss her light touch and lovely smile.

My condolences to the Walker family. I will miss her greatly, there will be a big void without her in our lives. I'm not surprised to learn Carol was the "fun aunt", when I would third wheel her and my mom, I felt like she was my friend too! She's the best, sending love xoxox

My condolences to the entire Walker family. I have many fond memories from the youth group at Spring Garden in which Caral was very active. She was always smiling and full of life. Her bubbly personality and that great smile will be sorely missed.
