Obituary of Augusta Pais

Augusta peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 96 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Jose Pais. Loving mother of late Fernanda (late Renato) Macorano, late Joe (Adelaide) Pais and Tony (Fernanda and late Fatima) Pais. Proud Avo of Maria (Fernando) Maximino, Teresa (Luis) Torres; Joe (Carrie) Pais, Paula (Gino) Spadafora, Diane (Peter) Marques; Sandra Pais (Stuart), Jennifer (Ian) Carscadden and late Steven Pais. Augusta will also be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic if you wish to visit the family at the funeral home an appointment needs to be made to attend the visitation. Please contact Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford by phone (905-775-3335 or 1-800-209-4803) on Thursday, October 15, 2020 after 10 a.m. to book a time to visit with the Pais family on Friday, October 16, 2020.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford followed by interment at Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford. In Augusta's memory, donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation or Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
