Rose and Family:
I am so sorry for the families lost. I had the pleasure working with Walt on the Newmarket Hurricane hockey team. We had many great conversations, and tons of chuckles over the years. I always admired his devotion to the boys as a trainer and he genuinely cared about them as an individual. One of his greatest skills was being a good listener. I often reflect back to the great times we had as members of the Hurricanes. My deepest sympathies to Rose and the entire family. I know your strong family bond will aid you in this most difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Rosemary and Family,
We were very saddened hearing about the passing of Walt. We fondly remember Walt as a great man and gentleman when he was the Trainer for the Newmarket Hurricanes JRA hockey team when our son, Kevin played on the team. Walt was a very caring person who all the players liked and respected, especially our son and us.
May you and your family find comfort in cherishing the wonderful memories Walt has left with you and all of us. He will be forever in our hearts.
Sincerely,
Al & Judy Lord

Dear Rosemary,
Sending you my love & deepest condolences on Walter’s passing...I will never forget his strong spirit in fighting his many health issues over the last few years. You were his rock.. his angel and he would tell me that every time we spoke. You always gave him the never ending support he needed to keep going and I admired his kindness, sense of humour and love for his family. I will miss him very much.. my heart goes out to you and your family, please keep in touch xo❤️
