To my Dad
I will never forget the good times, the parties and the long talks but most of all I will never forget the music. You played guitar and so many other instruments to the delight of all. Heaven will surely be a lively place now. I will always miss you.

My condolences to the entire family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I met Jim eight years ago at a computer class. I always enjoyed his company and his stories. He certainly loved his westerns. Jim will be missed.

All of us at Caledon Meals on Wheels were saddened to hear about Jim's passing. Jim was a volunteer for 7 years with us and will be remembered as such a nice man who was committed to getting meals to Seniors in our community. Jim drove our rural routes and was not fazed by winter weather. He was one of our best volunteers, always willing to fill in where there was a need. We will miss him.

We are so saddened by the news of the passing of Uncle Jimmy. Sending our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Him ...these times are hard enough and the loss of a loved one during these times are very difficult. Cousin Michael Mccluskey and Partner Sylvia are sending hugs and prayers to all the family and friends but especially to his children Darlene, Danny and grand children for their loss. Please know that we are thinking of you all during this hard time and sending our love and Condolences.
Uncle Jimmy opened his doors to his beautiful home to so many of us to celebrate what’s most important “Family....I can tell you we miss those days and we so appreciated and looked forward to the event every year. I hope we can carry on his tradition and get together when we can.
The best times enjoying the family around the big camp fire, the singing around the fire all the great food and shots” but mostly I/we really enjoyed Uncle Jimmy playing his guitar with his brother George and some good family friends. Uncle jimmy siblings and cousins singing to all these great oldies what a treat and so much fun. We will always remember those moments.
Jimmy was a man of many talents and a super host I felt like family always whenever I was at his home..we will be forever grateful and we will cherish always the tons of family photos we collected over the years.
You will be truly missed by so many , appreciated for all you’ve done for the family and keeping what is so important in life going for many years. Thank you and we will miss you dearly... RiP Uncle Jimmy Xoxo

Dear brother Jim, we were saddened by your sudden passing and pray you Rest In Peace. You will be missed.
My fondest memory with Jim, that stayed with me always, was when I was around 14 and in Stayner for the summer and he was working at Phil’s Garage as a mechanic. He was 20. He drove a stock car (1951 Ford) named alley-opp. I went to watch him racing around the track and felt special just watching my “Big” brother racing around the track, at Wasaga Beach speedway.
Our Families have had many good memories with Jim, family & friends, when he opened his home for many great yearly reunions. Lots of fun, laughs, music and tons of homemade food. For the ones that brought overnight accommodation, like us, the fun carried into the wee hours of the night. Great times.
You will be missed brother Jim

I was sorry to read in the paper about the death of Father Grandfather Jim McCluskey.
I was one of his PSW's from Caledon Village (CCS).
I only knew him for a short period of time but we got on well. We talked about his musical
instruments as I have a son who also plays the guitar.
I really liked the house he built and lived in.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Jim McCluskey’s family and friends during this difficult time.
I enjoyed listening to Niall and Conall tell me of the adventures they enjoyed during their visits with their Grampa over the years. They truly enjoyed their time with him at his home near Caledon East and elsewhere, and will be missing him.
Today and always, may sharing loving memories of Jim bring you peace, comfort, and strength.
Rest In Peace

It is very rate that I am at a loss for words. That is how I feel right now. I was shocked to hear of Uncle Jim’s passing. We had many happy family events at his home in Caledon East. I remember family reunions with us gang all eating and Uncle Jim walking amonst us playing his fiddle.
We have many fond memories to think back on. I know he would want us to think of the happy times we all had.
He will be missed sadly.
RIP Uncle Jim.

Dear, Family & Friends
I am greatly saddened to hear about the passing. Some of my favourite memories are:
1) Going on birthday train rides with Grampa. Was a yearly tradition.
2) Being up at his place in Caledon for the family reunions. With all the kind caring people, playing guitars, singing, eating home-cooked foods, sitting around the fire, and having a great time.
3) Going up to his place to have a smaller fire and just talk. Hearing his stories from over the years and telling him what was new with ourselves, or help around the house and fix things when needed.
I wish the family reunions could've kept going, but there's only so much one can wish for.
He was the one who introduced my love to music, I still listen to music every single day. May you Rest in Peace Grampa.
Love,
Conall McCluskey

Dearest Dad,
We were shocked to hear of your sudden passing.
The four of us have great, peaceful memories of you playing guitar and singing around the campfire, with us joining in the singing and the fire-tending.
We think back fondly on your attendance at our wedding. You walked my beautiful bride down the aisle. You reconnected with old friends, and laughed and joked at our reception.
We are so sad that Covid-19 prevented us from saying a proper good-bye to you. You will always be in our hearts, We know you're looking down at us from Heaven. Rest in Peace.
Dan, Wendy, Niall and Conall

January 2nd is a day I will never forget. I lost the first Birthday Present I ever got. Jimmy was born on my 1st Birthday. I will always treasure the many good times we had at our Family Reunions at his home in Caledon East. Life goes on but it will never be the same. I am glad that I saw him one last time on October 26th & took him his Mince Tarts. RIP Brother.
