Obituary of Shirley Slingerland

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Shirley Slingerland (nee Fallis) of Bradford in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerrit “Gerry” Slingerland. Loving mom of Susan Slingerland, David Slingerland and Linda (John) Kearns. Proud Oma of Amanda (Dan); Gerrit, Paige (Zac); Nathan, Aaron, Reuben and Adam. Cherished great Oma of Ayla, Carson and Lorelai. Dear sister of late Donald (Shirley) Fallis and late Bob (late Nancy) Fallis. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by extended family and friends.

A private family service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford followed by interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bradford.

Livestreaming of the funeral service will be available for family and friends who are not able to attend on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. and will remain on our website for 48 hours. A link will be provided on this page Monday morning.
