It was a honour to be Elieen's footcare nurse for even a short time. Thank you for sharing your beloved grandma with me. I would often hear stories of her family and see pictures on her phone of her great graddaughter. I will sincerely miss her. I hope that you will find comfort in your time of grief. May God Bless you.

My name is Cindy and I am the receptionist at the foot care company that helped Eileen. I realized we hadn't spoken in awhile so I went to call and found out the number was disconnected so I did an internet search and came across this page. I am terribly saddened to learn of Eileen's passing and our team here sends our deepest condolences to her family and friends. I will miss her positive attitude, kind words and sweet nature. Rest in peace Eileen.

Eileen was an exceptional lady. She would lovingly look after our puppies whenever we were away, and would never take more than a token gift for her generosity. We would also quite often have wonderful chats while walking our dogs together. Churchill will just not be the same without this wonderful lady as part of our little community.
Much love and prayers sent to her family, please know that she will be missed by those of us who knew and loved her.

My sincere condolences to Eileen's family and friends. Met Eileen as I was a PSW visiting her and although my time getting to know Elieen was more brief I greatly enjoyed getting to know her and we enjoyed chating about our special dogs. It really was touching when Elieen would say to me, I really enjoy your company Donna. God Bless Eileen and again my sincere condolences to her family and friends. I am so very sad that our Eileen has passed.
She was a a delight to visit and stay with.
My Mom, Millie, was so happy to have spoken with her. Eileen and her had many great memories visiting and gathering with the rest of the family.
I always looked forward to seeing her those many decades ago when we were younger.
She is apart from us but present with the Lord and Jack.

Our condolences to Aimee and Ben and all of Eileen's family members. We have been Jacks' and Eileen's neighbors for a number of years and she will be sadly missed. I remember Eileen when she work at Bradford high school, and now not to see her out cutting her lawn or walking her dog is hard. When Eileen mentioned to us about her not feeling well, I asked her to open her front door ever morning so that we would know she was ok. The door is now closed and she is not in pain. Rest in peace Eileen.

Eileen has always been there in our lives and it will be strange going forward without her. She was thoughtful, generous and fun.
So many memories. Eileen without fail stepping on rusty nails at the cottage every summer when we were running around in bare feet and then having to spend an hour or two with her foot in a bowl of hot water and salt. We had good times swimming, picking berries, fishing and eating my Mom's pies.
She loved dogs. Her first was Ginger, a German Shephard mix who she took everywhere. When Jack and Eileen married they raised Siberian Huskies and then moved on to Cairn Terriors and Goldens
Jack and Eileen made a good pair.
Because of her sometimes embarassing humour and inappropriate comments Jack always said they had to visit places twice - the second time to apologize for the first. We joined St. Johns Ambulance together in our teens and also judo. Eileen got a brown belt and was working on her black belt when she quit many devades ago.
But there was a certain little girl that she lived so much, that she liked to spend time with. Eileen was so proud of you Aimee when you got your drivers license, your business degree or anything that you did. She thought Ben was a pretty great partner for you and was so happy to meet Maia. You and Ben were there for her when she needed you the most - a hard experience but rewarding.
All my love Aimee, Ben, Maia, Ron and Ela. Eileen and I grew up more like sisters than cousins and I will miss her very much

Aimee was a truly exceptional granddaughter to Eileen; she moved just minutes away from her when she bought her first home, she found ways to safely share her beautiful baby with her great-grandmother in the first year of her life, she always had a funny story to tell about just how much her grandma looked out for her, and she gave her the opportunity to pass in the presence of family in the comfort of home. Eileen seemed so proud of all that Aimee is and will always have an eye on her beautiful new family with Ben and Maia.
Sending my condolences and warmest wishes to all of the Maddens who were touched by Eileen's life.

Eileen was a woman who valued good friendships. She was so generous to all those she loved and cared for. We will all miss the many ways she loved to show her appreciation. We know she believed in the old adage---What goes around comes around----.
The number of Eileen’s many neighbours and friends who selflessly and generously offered their help in so many ways through the last few months of her life is a testament to the fine relationships she developed and cherished through her life.
Through the help of Eileen’s neighbours and friends, Aimee and Ben were given the great honour to provide Eileen with her wish to spend her last days and months in her own home. They were able to share Eileen’s passing with the love and comfort of her family home. This is a gift that Aimee and Ben will treasure forever
Sincerely Ross and Marilyn Scavuzzo.
