It has been a long time, some 40+ years but I can remember her smile. Be strong Paul family. Things get better.

I have happy memories of times spent with my Aunt Beth and Uncle Allan. Summer or autumn visits to North Bay playing on Lake Nipissing shores, exploring the huge granite rocks on their property and finding wild blueberries; visits and boat rides at Crystal Lake; Tico, her little chihuahua; occasional detours to Newmarket to catch up; then phone calls back and forth when distance and our young family kept us in western Ontario rather than going north. Without fail, my aunt and I would always share a laugh each visit about her love for Frank Sinatra. My father, her brother Bruce, pranked her once by putting a large colour photo of Ol' Blue Eyes under the toilet lid. She caught on just in time to her brother's antics and Frank was saved.
May the happy moments from the past shine brightly, keeping your mom/grandmother in your hearts.
With love, Linda and Terry (MacNab) Ploen
