I am without words to describe how truly sorry I am for your loss. I met Matt here in Barrie at RVH. He was one of the first nurses to welcome me into the new city. I remember him showing my husband and I around town and even playing frisbee together in one of the city parks. I remember him making a beautiful ring out of wood for Claire and thinking wow that is so impressive and cool. Please know that my prayers go out to Claire, Guz and Ruth as well as the Hamilton family. He really was an amazing individual!!

My deepest sympathy. I have been flooded with memories of growing up on Cunningham Drive in Thornton and going to elementary and high school with Matthew since hearing about his passing. Mathew was a student of mine while I worked in the ER at RVH. He was an amazing person. I knew him before he was married and had a family, but based on what he was like as a nurse I am sure he would be a fine husband and father. I followed him briefly while he was doing outpost nursing.
