Obituary of Peter Blakemore

Peter peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday. March 10th, 2021 at the age of 83.
Beloved Husband of the late Irene, Partner to Gertrud. Brother to John (Pam) and Dave (Glenys). Father to Colin (Sheila), Glenys (David) and the late Cynthia (Ron). Grandfather to Jason, Ranae, Shane, Sharon and Lorraine. Great grandfather to Kyele, Shawn, Chantal. Remembered by the Erdenberger family.

Born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, Peter emigrated to Canada in 1966 with his wife and young son where he enjoyed a full and enjoyable life. He ended up with an extended family of 13 in Canada with other family members in both England and Australia.

Peter enjoyed singing and could often be found performing in one choir or another, he loved playing cards and had a passion for Bridge.

A private funeral service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home in Bradford followed by cremation. 

In Peter's memory, donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation in Toronto.
