My deepest sympathy to Sharon's family. Your mother was an enthusiastic member of The Happy Hikers.
I admired her fortitude in driving to meet meet us. I was upset that her last years were so difficult.
May there now be peace for her and you.
Sincerely, Liz Lesser

I have many fond memories of Sharon - particularly when she was part of our hiking group. When she moved to Newmarket she continued hiking with us, making the long drive to Burlington every Wednesday.
A small group of us also had regular lunches and card parties and Sharon graciously took her turn at hosting. We continued to visit Sharon on her birthday when she moved into Bradford Valley and brought the lunches to her. She had the most beautiful blue eyes that would light up when she was with her friends.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Lisa and all of Sharon’s family in the loss of this sweet lady; but I hope that you find comfort in the fact that she is now at peace.

Sharon was a gentle soul who loved the outdoors and physical activities, reading and engaging with others.
In the last few years, while Sharon was resident at Bradford Valley she was popular with the other residents and staff alike. She loved visits with Charlie, my therapy dog who loved her back and would sit contentedly beside her. It was an honour to have been her friend.
My sincere condolences to Sharon’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
