Dear Pam, Wendy & family, & Jenny,
Our sincere condolences to you on the death of your mother. May God support and strengthen you as you grieve the loss of your mother. Ruth and I have been close friends of your Dad since our days together at Concordia in Edmonton, and then also your mother from the time she married your Dad. We got to know you when we always visited your Mom and Dad when we visited or passed through Sarnia. Then when we lived in Edmonton and North Vancouver and visited our children in Toronto and Montreal, a visit and dinner out with Norma and Marvin and the Scholls was always included. So many good and happy memories. We miss those times and certainly miss your Mom and Dad and always will. God bless you!

Norman had been a nurse at Don Valley Medical for many years. She was one of our pillars -helpful ,knowledgable and kind to the patients. She was a great team player- the type that all the staff liked and admired. She had a great sense of humour as well.
Norma gave me one of the best compliments I ever got. I had a patient with a rare self -distructive disorder. This patient required a lot of attention and support. One day ,after this patient left the room,Norma turned to me and said "Dr Koffman, there is a place in heaven for you".I always carried that with me.It helped me get over some rough bumps. Iti's something I will always hold dear.
Thank you Norma and rest in peace.
Gerry Koffman

Thankyou so much Dr. Koffman for your lovely message. It seems like ages ago when she worked at Don Valley Medical! I remember vividly though, , how happy she was when she was working there. Everyday she had stories to tell and genuinely loved everyone there. In fact when I think back , I’m pretty sure those were some of her happiest years!!! Blessings to you all❤️

Ib have very clear and fond memories of both Norma and Rev Marvin. They were both class acts. Norma was my Wednesday evening nurse at Don Valley Medical for many years and I appreciated her caring ways towards all of my patients. Threr were endless questions from my patients when she eventually retired. I know that the last few years have not been easy for her but I can at least be reassured that she has joined Marvin in Heaven. May the delicious memories of your parents sustain you all during this difficult mourning time.
Best regards to all,
Brian Silver
