Obituary of E. Ruth Harrison
Peacefully passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Ruth Harrison (Stiles) of Barrie and formerly of Mount Albert at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of Harold for almost 68 years. Loving mother of Peggy (John) Graham, late Wayne, Gerry (Roberta), Wendy Guiden, Richard (Kathy), Lee (Don) Geertsema, Glen (Lisa) and John (Cathy) LaChapelle. Proud grandmother of Meghan, Matthew, Trevor, Taylor, Lauren, Kelly, Katelyn, Robert, Ryan, Emily, Madeline, Carter, Justin, Zachary and Abigail. Cherished great grandmother of Frankie. Dear sister of James (Shirley) and predeceased by Gordon, Helen and Gertrude. Ruth will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 1-4 p.m. Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 75 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. Masks and social distancing will be required.
A memorial service will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford by invitation only followed by interment of her ashes at Mount Albert Cemetery.
Livestreaming of the memorial service will be available on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 2 p.m.
