Obituary of Stanley Cemas

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Mario Cemas, Stanley Cemas, Irene Cemas (Stefan Kash) and Stefan Cemas. Proud Tata of Madeleine and Michael Kash. Dear brother of late Rudolf (late Barbara) Cemas, late Angela (late Frank) Balkovec, and Marica (Mate) Cadonic. Stanley will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews both here and in Slovenia.

Friends may be received for visitation at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, Bradford on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.  Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 75 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time (no appointment is necessary). Masks and social distancing will be required.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is limited seating available in the Church, therefore attendance will be by family invitation only.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Toronto.

In Stanley’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society.
