Obituary of Nadia Chornenki

Peacefully passed away at Matthew House Hospice, Alliston on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 90 years of age. Beloved wife of late Stephen Chornenki. Loving mother of Christine (Richard) Hyland, Peter (Victoria) Chornenki and Susan (Jeff) Parkes. Proud Baba of Richard, Stephanie; Amanda (Dave), Sean; and Megan (Dylan). Cherished Great Baba of William, Kingston, Oliver, Rowen, Wyatt and Scarlett. Dear sister of Eugene (late Diane) Rezanowicz.

A public visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. A private invitational funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.

Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 75 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time (no appointment is necessary). Masks and social distancing will be required.
