Obituary of Leona Margaret Gasko

Peacefully passed away at Bradford Valley Care Community on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Leona Gasko (nee Spaulding) of the Bradford Marsh at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of late John Gasko. Loving mother of Denise (Bob) Magloughlen, late Susan, Dave, Rob and Mike. Leona will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd. Bradford on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 5–8 p.m.  Due to COVID – 19 restrictions only 60 guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time (no appointment is necessary). Masks and social distancing will be required.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, Bradford on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there is limited seating available in the Church, therefore attendance will be by family invitation only. Interment to follow at Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.

In Leona’s memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
