Obituary of George Mavrakakis
Unexpectedly passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 39 years of age. Loving and devoted dad of Mihail and Katerina. Beloved son of Mike and Litsa. Dear brother of Helen (Stefano) and Themos. Dear uncle of Evelina and Niko. George will be fondly remembered by extended family in Greece, many friends and customers.
A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Saturday, May 28. 2022 from 12 noon until the time of a prayer service at 2 p.m. Interment in Greece.
Facial masks are required at the visitation and prayer service.
For those unable to attend the funeral service livestreaming of the service will be available on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. A link to watch the livestream will be available on this webpage Saturday afternoon.
In George's memory, a trust fund is being set up for George's children, Mihail and Katerina.
