To our dear Godmother, Aunt, Great Aunt and Great Great Aunt Marie. Today is the day we say goodbye to you. One of the kindest, genuine and most loving people we’ve ever known. Always a joy to be around. We will miss you for the rest of our days and hope that you and Uncle Dalt have been reunited as you wanted. We will keep you alive in our hearts forever.
Love Always, The Thompsons xoxo

Marie and her late husband Dalt were always so welcoming when we moved into our little neighbourhood on Warden Ave., Queensville. Over the years we had many fun little get togethers and they were always so kind to our son as he grew up.
I know she was loved by many and will be missed, but I can't help but feel comforted knowing Marie and Dalt are together again xo

Our sincere condolences to all the family. I so loved having Marie coming to the trailer and visiting Lorne and Doreen, she always brought us banana bread. No matter what kind it was I always knew it was made with love.

Our Deepest condolences to both the Burgess and Thompson families.
Gerry and I only had the pleasure of knowing Maria after becoming our neighbour
here at Royal Oak, Mount Albert.
The first time we met Marie was when she knocked at our door and presented us with one of her delicious banana loaves. An instant friendship formed. How could anyone not love Marie? Marie loved to laugh, had a beautiful, giving heart and loved people.
There was only one thing missing in her life and that was her beloved Dalton. Marie always said he would have loved us and wished we had met earlier in life. Marie had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to laugh. We shared many stories and it didn't take long for us to become family.
We miss Marie dearly and would give anything to have her walk through our front door one more time. Marie, you will remain in our hearts always and we will love you forever. Until we meet again our friend.

This is with heavy heart that we have come to say good-bye.
Marie was a dear friend for 48 years who became part of our family.
We shared over 40 Christmas Eves eating Chinese food.
Marie loved to make her loaves to share with everyone.
We have so many stories, but the last one is: Goodbye
You will not be forgotten. RIP

I just loved Marie. Her big beautiful heart always working overtime, thinking of others first. We've shared many moments together the past 20 years. Moments of laughter & of tears. Marie cherished her family and friends. Keeping people connected mattered.
Rest in peace sweet lady, I will miss you.
