Obituary of Jeremy Keith Erickson

It is with true sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeremy Keith Erickson on Saturday, October 29, 2022 – his 33rd birthday. Jeremy was a shining light to everyone in his family and even as a small boy showed his compassion, good humour, and zest for life. The loss of this wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandson, and nephew leaves an incomprehensible hole in our family but no one more so than his 5-year-old son, Keith who was the light of his life. We will be forever in awe of his dedication and patience to this young boy and even in five short years imparted a lifetime of love and lessons to sustain Keith through the challenging times ahead.

Jeremy leaves behind his wife, Corrina McDermott. His parents, Connie and Greg Meeke, his father Gerald Erickson. He will be missed by his heartbroken sister Emma Meeke (John), and his proud grandfather Keith Geer, his cherished aunt and uncle Lisa and David Strome, cousins, Tiana Strome (Ken) and Katy Strome. His special nephews Liam Campbell, Nathan Campbell and Chase Erickson and his niece Ruby Hutchings.

Jeremy is predeceased by his big sister, Laura Erickson (May 10, 2021) and his cherished grandmother, Annetta Geer (January 29, 2004).

He will be missed by many friends and colleagues. Corporal Jeremy Erickson was a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and we are forever grateful for his service to Canada.

All of the outpouring of support and care are deeply appreciated by Jeremy’s family. It is in these dark days that we learn the true meaning of family and friends.

We all hope you are busy playing rousing games of Nintendo with your favourite gaming partner, Grandma Nettie.
