Beste Ralph, kinderen en kleinkinderen,
Ik was even stil toen ik het verdrietige bericht van het overlijden van Pat las. Graag wil ik jullie condoleren met dit grote verlies. Pat heb ik de laatste jaren leren kennen door haar grote belangstelling voor en betrokkenheid bij de familie in Nederland. Ze leefde in moeilijke omstandigheden met ons mee . De herinneringen aan haar blijven in ons hart. Ik hoop dat die herinneringen ook voor jullie het grote verdriet, haar te moeten missen, iets mogen verzachten.

We will always remember how Pat warmly welcomed us to the Holland Marsh 23 years ago. She had an infectious smile and always made time for the people around her. Pat was a hard worker and an example to us all. We will always remember her with Love.

Mrs. Scholten, (and lets be frank) the entire Scholten family was always nice to run into at larger family events, and community events growing up, and farming in the Marsh and afterwards.
