Obituary of Claudia Moorhead
Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Healthcare Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Claudia Moorhead (nee Carlin) of Mount Albert was in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Moorhead. Loving Mom to their only son, Michael (Heather) Moorhead. Proud and loving Grandma to Jenna Moorhead (Adam Straker). Dear daughter of the late James and late Myrtle Carlin and step-daughter of the late Mary Carlin. Dear daughter-in-law to the late Douglas and late Edith Moorhead. Dear sister of the late James Carlin, John (Toni) Carlin and Cathy Carlin (Hugh McMorrow); Mary, Maureen and Moira Carlin. Dear sister-in-law of the late Louise Wagg, Winston (late Linda) Moorhead and Kathleen (Jack Hicks). Claudia will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to doctors, nurses, especially Maggie Kaplan; and the 40 Royal Oak community who have cared for and assisted Claudia in these past years.
Private family arrangements will be held.
In lieu of flowers, in Claudia’s memory, donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation or Mount Albert United Church Food Pantry.
