Obituary of Maria Augusta Mateus

Peacefully passsed away, surrounded by her family at home on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 66 years of age.

Beloved wife of Fernando Mateus. Loving mother of Nelson (Amanda) Mateus, Gilberto Mateus and Helder Da Silva. Proud Avó of Dyllon, Sofia and Liliana Mateus. Dear sister of Rosa (Joao Carlos) Juliao. Maria Augusta will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.

In Maria Augusta's memory, donations may be made to the Stronach Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
