Obituary of Ken Foster

Retired Holland Landing Volunteer Firefighter after 42 years of service,

Retired Employee of the Town of East Gwillimbury after 25 years of service,

Employed for many years in home building for Luxury Home Builders in Bradford and Len Hickland Construction,

Village Trustee for the village of Holland Landing for 2 terms in the 1950's.

Peacefully passed away at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Ken Foster of Holland Landing at 91 years of age.

Beloved husband of late Joyce Foster (nee Booth). Loving dad of Keith (Sandra) Foster, Jane Foster (Wayne Roberts) and Terry (Patti) Foster. Proud grandpa of Ryan and Jordan. Predeceased by his brothers John (Edna), Sidney(Evelyn) and Arthur (Amy). Dear brother-in-law of late Ted Brown, late Bill Brown, June (late Murray) McEachern and Carol (late Percy) McGruthers. Ken will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at SKWARCHUK FUNERAL HOME, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) for visitation on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 2 p.m. followed by cremation.

In Ken’s memory, donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at Mackenzie Health.
