Anastasia (Pat) Boliefski

Obituary of Anastasia (Pat) Boliefski

Born in Bouf, Macedonia (now Akrita Greece) on February 18, 1942, Anastasia (Pat) Boliefski passed away with her children by her side on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.  She was 81 years young.

A sister of three loving siblings, she is survived by all her children, Susie (and Metry) Halteh, Angie Tsingos, Peter (and Jennifer) Bolefski, and David (and Afra) Bolefski.  Proud Grandmother and Baba of Matthew & Samantha; Grant & Reid, Cheyenne & Jake, and Danillo.  Cherished Great Grandmother of Lucas & Leila.

Pat will also be lovingly remembered by her extended Family and many Friends.

Born in Greece, Pat sailed to Canada at 13 to start a new life.  At 20 she married Pando, the love of her life in Toronto, and once again found herself embarking on a new life adventure.  Together, their journey moved them northbound from Shudell off the Danforth to RavenRock and eventually to Bradford.

Her best life was lived while raising her four loving children and teaching them, by example, how to love, show kindness, and raise their children with the same compassion and positivity she lived every day.  Her joy from being in the ministry, with friends, her congregation, and all her family was always evident.  And if ever she needed an extra boost of joy, she was sure to find it at the bottom of an Ice-Cap or box of chocolates.

Her beauty was cherished by Pando every day, from the Turkish coffee he’d make before her overnight shifts, to the meals he’d prepare each morning – never taking even a bite before she arrived.

Her humility and devotion to her family and Jehovah God was evident in every conversation, and she leaves us now with a beautiful record of loyalty, faith, and hope in the next new life adventure she so dearly looked forward to – seeing us all again in Paradise on earth!

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 4-8 p.m.

A private family graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens, North York.

A Memorial Talk will be held for Anastasia Boliefski on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2816 Sideroad 10, Bradford at 2 p.m.
