Obituary of Kaitlyn Marie "Kat" Szentesy

In her mother's arms and surrounded by her family, Katie left loved, at peace, her pain at an end, she will live on in our hearts forever.

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 32 years of age. Beloved daughter of Sandra Szentesy (Higby) and George Szentesy. Loving sister of Leah. Longtime companion of Dean McMichael. Dear niece of Gail (Nelson), late Brenda, Adrienne and Angie (Reg). Kat will be lovingly remembered by her "sister cousin" Jessica, and cousins Matt, Gerard, Lacey and Kyle. 

A celebration of Kat's life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #521, 115 Back Street, Bradford on Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 1-4p.m. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the The Canadian Cancer Society.
