Obituary of Shirley Margaret Cole

Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Shirley Cole (nee Gibney) of Sharon and formerly of Holt in her 91st year.

Beloved wife of Elgin Cole for 69 years. Loving mother of late Brad (late Judy), Wayne (Janet), and Terry (Diane). Proud grandma of Adam (Nicole), Eric (Jillena), Josh (Lauren); Lindsey (Michael), Holden (Meaghan), Cassidy (Hunter), and Makayla. Cherished great grandma of Savannah, Hayes, and Denali. Dear sister of Art (Marilyn) Gibney and late Francis (late Betty) Gibney. Dear sister-in-law of Leona (late Harry) Cooper, and late Guy (late Thelma) Cole. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment Queensville Cemetery.

In Shirley's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Hillside Evangelical Missionary Church.
