Obituary of Nelson Ross McGenerty

Nelson McGenerty of Keswick and formerly of Newmarket, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 83 years of age.

Beloved husband of Bertha McGenerty (nee Sedore) for 61 years. Cherished father of Anne, Wayne (Lorelei) and Keith (Renee). Loving Papa of Tyler (Chrissi), Justin, Stephanie (Ryan), Brittany (Duane), Natasha (Jarrod) and Avery. Proud Great Poppy of Ren, Kylee, Addilynn, Maya, Wesley, Rowan and Mikayla. Dear brother of Carole (late Len) Bassie, Ruth (Ed) Wierenga, Barb (Paul) Bassie and late Alvin (Wendy). Nelson will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and the Sedore family.

A memorial visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nelson's memory may be made to Egypt Church of Nazarene or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
