Obituary of Gloria Dianne Morris

It is with profound sadness and much grief we announce the peaceful and sudden passing of Gloria Dianne Morris (nee McNelly) on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 76 years of age at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.

Beloved daughter of late Margaret (nee Curl) and late Merton McNelly. Loving mother of Jason (Kate) Morris and Julie (Evan) Holt. Dear grandma of Garrick Holt; Everly and Maeve Morris. Dear sister of Gordon (Patty) McNelly and late Donald McNelly. Dianne will be fondly remembered by her cousins Pam Gilpin and Laurel Dunkeld  Dianne leaves behind her husband Jim Morris and daughter Kim (Shawn) McFaul.

Dianne retired from IBM Canada Ltd. to raise her family and later became a florist and caregiver. She was passionate about her family home and was devoted to gardening, helping others, playing the piano and her church community.

A graveside service will be held at Zephyr Zion Cemetery, 260 Zephyr Road in Zephyr on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to Diabetes Canada and  the Zephyr United Church.
