Obituary of Maria Del Carmen Badia

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Del Carmen Badia, a woman whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on the lives she touched. Maria peacefully departed at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the age of 75. Originally from Argentina, Maria made Bradford her home, leaving behind a legacy of genuine connections and quiet strength.

Maria, the loving wife of Jose, shared a lasting and steady love that served as an example of commitment. As a devoted mother, Maria leaves behind fond memories for her children: Jose, Frank (Tina), and Veronica (Danny). Her role as a nona brought joy to her life, with Victoria (Oliver), Cristian, Marco, Nicolas, Tiffany, and Fabian adding laughter and love to her days.

Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 5-8 p.m. A Funeral Service to honor Maria's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11 a.m., followed by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Maria's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County, a meaningful tribute to her caring spirit.
