Peacefully passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 88 years of age.

Beloved husband of the late Audrey Morning (nee Stiver). Loving dad of Grant (Shellee) Morning, Donna Blakely, Drew Morning (Sylvia) and Brent Morning (Kathie Roach). Proud grandpa of Christopher (Dawn), Aaron (Kimberly), Katie (Alysha); Ryan (Alana), Kevin; and Mackensie. Dear great grandpa of Noah, Tyler, Liam, Liliana, and Carter. Dear brother of late Marie McVety (late Lorne James and late Ev McVety), late Blanche (late Thom) Leslie, and late Cora (late Floyd) Billing. Jim will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford (1-800-209-4803) on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment at Kettleby Cemetery.

In Jim’s memory, donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
