Obituary of Wladyslawa "Laddie" Balon

Unexpectedly but peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Wladyslawa "Laddie" Balon (nee Bak) of Bradford in her 99th year.

Beloved wife of late Josef Balon. Loving mother of Mary (late Joe) Mendrek, John Balon (Kathy Boonstra), Josie (Stan) Dobosz, late Teresa Balon, Ted Balon, Antoni Balon, Casey (Anne) Balon, Barbara Balon, Stella Macoretta and late Helen Balon. Proud Babcia of Michael (Lisa), Annette (Joe), Lisa; Teresa (Chris), Tanya (Paul), Richard; Emily (Brian), Joey (Darian); Amanda (Brandon), late Matthew, Anthony (Erin); Kaitlyn, Lauren; Robert, Nicole and Danielle. Laddie will be lovingly remembered by 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Teresa, Joseph, Antoinette, Casey and predeceased by Fr. Stan and John. Laddie will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Martyrs of Japan Church, 167 Essa St., Bradford on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Martyrs Cemetery, Bradford.
